Overall not bad. Management is very solid and organized, feels like they have things under control. Sometimes, however, you can tell there are deeper issues in the restaurant. Front and back of house managers fight a lot and the staff pay the aftermath. Pay is inconsistent, sometimes you'll get a good number of shifts per week and some other times only 1— which has been a common thing for many people now. Sometimes feels like Management puts up a smile but don't really have your back. Very fitting for King Street.

Baro is a great place to work, where they truly love and care about their employees. They like to grow from within and have advancement opportunities. It’s a fun place to work, great food and rarely is there ever a full moment. It can get hectic and stressful sometimes, but I still love going back.

4 stars as I found that they often overstaffed, which meant tips/sections were split across more so people took home less in their pockets.

Management is pretty great. Supportive and always jumping in to help out, whether it’s running food, serving, hosting etc., it’s an all-hands-in approach.

I would most definitely recommend Baro to any friend who I felt was a good fit :)
