Money is great, but the place falls short in management. Some of the previous managers were great, but new management is horrible. Hiring process in incredibly biased, and culture is very bad at the company.

Was a fun place to work. Got to meet very interesting people often. Great location in Downtown Vancouver. I'd consider working there again.

A typical barback shift would include stocking a liquor delivery, helping to set up the bars (often multiple), making popcorn and keeping the bars stocked with liquor, beer, wine, snacks and ice. The only downside is that there's a bunch of stairs but barring that, it's a fun place to work with great people. I'm bartending now and I couldn't be happier!

You only get $30 or so a night as a host and you do most of the servers work. It’s gross.
