Job Description

Job Title: General Manager - Personas Restaurant
Job Type: Full-Time, On-site
Salary Range: $69,071 - $72,500

As a key part of our leadership team, you will oversee operations, guide staff, and cultivate a loyal guest following while driving the financial success of the restaurant. Additionally, you will help create an exciting nightclub atmosphere on Friday and Saturday nights, enhancing guest experiences with vibrant entertainment and energetic service, while ensuring effective crowd control and safe liquor service.

  • Lead and motivate the team to provide exceptional guest service while ensuring compliance with safety and liquor service regulations
  • Oversee daily shift operations, including guest interactions and staff management.
  • Manage opening and closing procedures, oversee pre-shift meetings, handle reservation requests, cash handling, and daily sales reporting.
  • Train and mentor employees to uphold high service and operational standards, including disciplinary management when necessary.
  • Demonstrate strategic thinking and problem-solving under pressure.
  • Ensure expert knowledge and execution of restaurant promotions and events.
  • Enforce company policies, health and safety regulations, and Serving It Right guidelines.
  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant or nightclub, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in front and back of house operations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and people-management skills.
  • Business acumen with basic financial understanding of labor cost, COGS, inventory controls, and profit margin.
  • Proficiency in computer applications such as word processing, Excel, and payroll software.
  • Event planning and promotion experience is an asset.
  • WHMIS certification preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to multitask effectively.
