THE OPPORTUNITY
Queens Harbour is Toronto's go-to waterfront destination — where hospitality, food, ambience, and value come together to exceed the expectations of every single guest that sets foot in our building. That doesn't happen by accident. It happens because of the people on the floor every night.
As our Seasonal Floor Supervisor, you are the heartbeat of that floor and our last line of excellence. When the lights are low and the night is in full swing, you are the one who holds the room together, reads every table, and ensures each guest walks out having lived a genuine five-star moment. This is not a role for the timid — it's for someone who runs like they're last and leads like it matters, because it does.
ROLE OVERVIEW
Own your sections completely — you are responsible for every table in your zone at every stage of their experience, from the moment they sit to the moment they leave
Maintain real-time floor awareness at all times — in a high volume restaurant serving over 1,500 guests a day, you know every table in your section, where they are in their service, and what they need before they ask - every guest must leave happy.
Work closely with the management team on shift, actively contributing observations and shift feedback to drive continuous improvement
Lead, motivate, and support the front-of-house team through high-volume, high-energy service
Act as the primary point of contact for guests, managing feedback, escalations, and memorable moments with grace and urgency
Conduct pre-shift briefings to align the team on service standards, specials, and priorities
Give and receive real-time feedback openly and without ego — we are one team, and honest communication is how we get better
Bring full energy to every closing shift — close the way the morning team opens, leaving everything set, stocked, and ready for success
Own the close — end-of-night procedures, cash reconciliation, team checkout, and facility security
Identify and resolve service gaps in real time — you don't wait for problems to escalate
Uphold and model the Five Star ethos in every interaction, visible and invisible
WHO YOU ARE
You are not just a manager — you are a presence. You thrive under pressure, set the tone without being asked, and treat every guest as if they came specifically to see you. You lead by example, take ownership without being asked, and believe the moments no one sees are the ones that define you.
2+ years of experience in a premium casual, server lead, supervisor, or management role
Exceptional communication skills — with guests, with your team, and under pressure
A genuine obsession with hospitality: you don't just serve people, you take care of them
Proven ability to manage conflict calmly, honestly, and directly
Night owl mentality — you thrive when the rest of the city is winding down
Smart Serve certification (required) and food handler's certificate (asset)
Flexible availability across evenings, weekends, and holidays for the duration of the contract
THE ETHOS YOU'LL LIVE BY

Queens Harbour is Toronto's most ambitious waterfront restaurant. At 23,000 square feet, it sits on the harbourfront featuring an interactive sushi bar, three unique cocktail bars, and Canada's largest retractable rooftop patio.
The restaurant was designed to invoke the feeling of escapism - and it shows. The menu blends Mediterranean and Asian influences into what the team calls MediterAsian cuisine, rooted in balance, and bold flavour, with dishes crafted to be shared and savoured.
For guests, it's become the destination the waterfront always needed. With its palm-frond decorated ceiling, central bar, tiled flooring, and abundance of indoor trees and plants, the space delivers on its promise — a sprawling, 800-seat restaurant that draws people to the waterfront for reasons beyond a walk or a ferry.
For the people who work here, it's a place that moves. The volume is real, the standards are high, and the team is building something that Toronto is paying attention to. The brand is built on social dining, immersive experiences, and a vibrant atmosphere that transitions seamlessly from day to night. That energy starts and ends with the people on the floor.
