POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Gouin Langelier Complex located in Montreal North, close to all services, and with easy access to public transportation is currently looking for passionate people for the position of server/waitress, to join our dining room team, and to ensure that the services we provide in the lives of our seniors are maintained.

Permanent part-time position, 24 hours a week, daytime from 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. and weekends as needed.

ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in ensuring resident and staff safety in the dinning room by enforcing compliance with health and safety standards
• Bring plates to tables and provide personalized service
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure good teamwork
• Contribute to the teams efforts to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and dinning room(s)
• Greet clients and orient new residents by proposing their seat at an appropriate table
• Greet residents in the dining room and ensure they are comfortable
• Manage guests' reservations and ensure their comfort
• Perform other related duties
• Take orders, noting specific requests and following-up with the kitchen staff

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1 year of relevant experience will be considered an important asset
• Good team player
