This Role:
Casino Rama Resort has a unique restaurant opening! Chow Lucky Noodle Bar will add to the quick-serve style outlets available for our guests.
Do you have experience in food and beverage or customer service? Apply for the position of Food Services Associate to join our team, as the first to welcome guests and provide fast and efficient service at the outlets on site.
The Associate provides food and drinks over the counter, in any of our quick-serve style outlets. This includes receiving payment and working in collaboration with team members and kitchen staff.
This position requires experience in food and beverage or customer service, cash handling and smart serve certificate.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve customers’ food and drink over-the-counter, in a quick-serve style outlet.
Handle payments through point of sale equipment.
Package all take-out orders.
Delivers a high level of customer service.
Maintains current knowledge of products, events and promotions, and general information relating to the department, gaming floor and property.
Constantly monitors and maintains the cleanliness and aesthetics of the café/ dining areas and takes action where required.
Works collaboratively with team members.
Performs other duties as assigned.
What you bring:
1 year experience in a food and beverage and or customer service position
Cash handling experience using point of sale system or cash register
Smart Serve Certificate
Excellent customer service skills, including the ability to be friendly, polite and patient
Ability to multi-task, organize workload and work under pressure
18 years of old or older
Ability to obtain registration as a Category 2 Gaming Assistant with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario
