The Position
This role will work within an assigned outlet with opportunity to cross over to other outlets.You will provide leadership to develop employees and engage and motivate a team to deliver a high customer experience and product knowledge to our guests.
This role will support continuity of any Food and Beverage outlet operations across the Rama property, as required.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure correct staffing levels to maximize productivity and business performance to be fully conversant in all training modules for each outlet
Work with the TA team to lead staffing and recruitment initiatives
Oversee the supervision of all staff and performance management process through ongoing coaching, feedback and development to motivate, engage and drive a high performing team
Control beverage and wares inventories, liaise to purchase as required
Work with and manage budgets to keep effective control of cost of goods and labour
Manage and promote entertainment and special events within the outlet(s)
Create and manage scheduling and shift requirements in accordance with operational requirements
Develop and maintain departmental quality standards.
Be fully conversant in all training modules for their outlet
Create a positive and engaging work environment people want to be a part of
Perform other duties as assigned
What You’ll Require
Minimum 5 years experience in a leadership role within high volume restaurant and bar operations
Relevant post-secondary education in Hospitality Management or another related field preferred
Smart Serve and Food Handlers certification
WHMIS (Training provided)
Eligibility for AGCO Category 1 Licensing.
Extensive restaurant operation and food and beverage knowledge
Varied experience in the hospitality industry from hotel to restaurant to bars is an asset
Experience leading multiple outlets is an asset
Proven leadership experience successfully managing a large team, developing and motivating staff and leading by example
Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time
Ability to work in hot, cold and humid environments (indoor/outdoor) as required
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Ability to work all shifts, weekends, holidays, and special events needed
