Salary: $17.2-21/hr + tips (Competitive Pay, Based on Experience)
Schedule: Mornings - Primarily Weekends
At The Friendly Corner we are seeking a skilled & reliable Breakfast Cook to join our team!
The ideal candidate has experience preparing high-quality breakfast dishes, working in a fast-paced kitchen, and ensuring a great start to our customer's' day. If you have a passion for mornings, take pride in creating delicious plates and have a love of baked goods we’d love to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
-Prepare & cook breakfast menu items (eggs, pancakes, omelettes, breakfast sandwiches, bacon, etc.) to order
-Set up & stock the line before service
-Ensure all food meets restaurant quality & presentation standards
-Maintain a clean and organized workspace
-Follow food safety guidelines
-Work efficiently during busy service hours
-Assist with inventory, prep, & restocking as needed
-Communicate effectively & professionally with everyone
Qualifications:
-Previous experience as a breakfast cook, line cook, or similar role preferred
-Strong multitasking skills & ability to work quickly under pressure
-Knowledge of breakfast cooking & baking techniques
-Ability to stand for long hours & work in a busy kitchen
-Punctuality & reliability—early mornings required
-Food handler’s certification
Located in Tiny Ontario we are a growing independent restaurant in a small town known for beautiful beaches & cottage country. About two hours north of Toronto and 15-20 minutes from two local towns we operate 12 months of the year and are continuing to grow beyond just a local spot to attract customers from further.
