We are looking for a Receiving and Shipping Supervisor for our customer in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu.
Responsibilities :
- Supervise a team of 20 employees
- Plan, organize, coordinate and control logistics activities while respecting quality, manpower, costs and deadlines;
- Ensure the quality of products and services provided by the various carriers. - Participate actively with the dispatch team in identifying transportation solutions;
- Ensure clear verbal and written communications with the various stakeholders;
- Approve departmental hours worked;
- Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures and policies, and maintain a safe and healthy work environment;
- Responsible for equipment used by the shipping/receiving department (maintenance and follow-up);
- Evaluate, communicate and follow up on employee performance;
- Organize and facilitate employee meetings and inform staff of policies, procedures and programs in effect;
- Ensure accurate product inventory;
- Develop a logical inventory storage system;
Qualifications :
- Minimum 5 years experience in inventory, distribution, operational procedures and personnel management;
- Bilingualism;
- Knowledge of MS office suite and ERP
- Results-oriented;
- Proven leadership skills: rallies the team to achieve a common goal;
- Good management of priorities;
- Organized/structured: able to multi-task and work independently and responsibly;
