Job Description

ResponsibilitiesTasks:

• Prepare and cook a variety of steak, pasta, and pub-style meals according to menu recipes and quality standards.
• Grill, season, and cook steaks to customer preferences, ensuring proper temperature and presentation.
• Prepare fresh pasta dishes, sauces, soups, and side items in a timely manner during service hours.
• Portion, marinate, and store meats, seafood, vegetables, and other ingredients following food safety standards.
• Monitor cooking times and coordinate orders with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
• Maintain consistency in taste, portion size, and plate presentation for all menu items.
• Inspect food supplies and report shortages or quality concerns to kitchen management.
• Keep workstations, grills, fryers, and kitchen equipment clean and sanitized at all times.
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation regulations, including proper food handling procedures.
• Assist with menu specials, prep work, and inventory control as required.
• Minimize food waste and use ingredients efficiently to control kitchen costs.
• Train and support junior kitchen staff when needed.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high food quality standards.
