Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic Restaurant Concierge to manage guest relations and ensure that each dining experience is seamless and extraordinary.

Position Overview:

The Restaurant Concierge is the face of our restaurant, responsible for providing exceptional service to all guests, especially high-profile clients. This role requires a sophisticated individual who can handle VIPs with discretion and professionalism. You will manage the reservation system, greet guests, coordinate with the front-of-house team, and ensure that the needs of executives, celebrities, and sports figures are met with the highest level of care and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the first point of contact for all guests, greeting them with warmth, professionalism, and personalized attention.
Manage high-volume reservations, ensuring that VIP guests receive personalized accommodations.
Provide concierge-level service, anticipating the needs of guests and ensuring all special requests are fulfilled (e.g., specific seating preferences, dietary restrictions, personal service requests).
Work closely with the restaurant’s management team and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth communication and seamless guest experiences.
Maintain an expert-level understanding of the restaurant’s amenities to provide informed recommendations and tailored experiences for all guests.
Build and maintain relationships with guests, ensuring they feel valued and their expectations are exceeded with every visit.
Handle guest inquiries, resolve any issues promptly and professionally, and escalate matters to management when necessary.
Oversee the reservation system, ensuring all bookings are entered accurately and VIP reservations are appropriately prioritized.
Manage the waitlist during peak times, ensuring that guests are never kept waiting unnecessarily.
Coordinate with security, valet, and other departments to ensure the smooth arrival and departure of high-profile guests.
Create a warm and welcoming environment by setting the tone for exceptional service upon guests’ arrival and departure.
Maintain confidentiality and discretion when dealing with high-profile individuals.
Train and mentor junior hosts, ensuring consistent service standards across the team.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
Proven ability to interact confidently and professionally with high-profile individuals.
Strong knowledge of fine dining standards, including menu offerings, wine list, and personalized service protocols.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a natural ability to build rapport and make guests feel special.
Discretion, confidentiality, and the ability to handle sensitive matters with professionalism.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks and high-pressure situations with ease.
Proficient in reservation management systems (e.g., OpenTable)
Ability to maintain a calm and positive demeanor, even during busy or high-stress periods.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to service.
Flexible schedule, including availability on weekends, evenings, and holidays.
A polished, professional appearance and demeanor that reflects the luxury nature of the restaurant.
