Job Description
Bluebovine + Sushi Steak House is hiring highly motivated, experienced barbacks as team members.who must have experience working in a fine dining restaurant.
Responsibilities:
• Assisting with opening and closing duties. This would involve the organization and \ restocking of the bar with Ice, alcohol, wine, glassware, garnishes,
• The running and serving of cocktails, beer, and wine in a high paced environment. This would involve memorizing of tables numbers, seat numbers and cocktails. Along with very strong tray carrying skills.
• Keeping the bar clean by wiping down surfaces, removing soiled glassware, scrubbing coolers and storage areas, emptying trash receptacles, and removal of recycled bottles
• Learning about food menu items and having a strong knowledge of house as well as classic cocktails.
• The preparation of some complicated syrups, infusions and other items needed to execute a high end bar program.
• Other duties as assigned by the manager.
Qualifications:
• Smart Serve Certified
• Knowledge of beverage products
• Attention to detail
• Passion for service
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Must be able to lift 50lbs.
• Able to stand/walk for long periods of time.
• Ability to work well under pressure and continue to communicate
• Open Availability on Weekends
• Must be legally allowed to work in Canada
