Casa Loma is currently seeking motivated and enthused Tour Guides. You will be on the front lines of customer service and excellence at Casa Loma. Your role is to make our guests feel welcome, comfortable, and ready for our program or service. This means being prepared with historical and physical knowledge of the castle, audio and/or program materials to hand out, and a guiding hand for a tour or to their program and service. As a first point of contact – this hospitality role provides an important first impression to castle guests.
Responsibilities
-Greeting visitors, answering questions, adhering to Casa Loma Policies
-Providing Guided Tours
-Roaming throughout the building
-Operating the Heritage Elevator
-Directing traffic of visitors in tower staircases and tunnels
-Clearing the building of visitors at the end of the day
-Provide best in class hospitality service
-Other duties as assigned by the manager
Qualifications
Eligible to work in Canada
High School Diploma or equivalent
Previous customer service experience is an asset but not required
Friendly disposition
Must be a team player
Must be available to work evenings, statutory holidays and weekends
Must be able to work 8 hour shifts
Must to legally allowed to work in Canada
