Job Description

Mhel is a restaurant/sake bar near Bloor and Dufferin.

We make foods based in Korean banchan and Japanese obanzai, and what we like to eat at home. We cook with the season wherever we can. Suitable candidates should have an interest in working with Korean and Japanese seasonings and techniques, sake, seasonal ingredients, and working in a small team.

Mhel is an open kitchen. Cooks are expected to work in full view of guests and to interact and perform their best work. As a small team, both FOH and BOH work together. Kitchen staffs are also expected to buss tables when it is required. Kitchen tip payout will reflect this additional responsibility.

We are looking for someone who:
has minimum 3 yrs experience
has worked at relevant establishment (i.e. seasonal ingredients,, asian cuisine, and etc.)
can be on time, be a team player
can communicate professionally
can work under pressure

Responsibilities and duties include:
Welcoming and serving guest
Professional customer service
General cleaning and maintenance
Following rules and regulations

Shift details:
4 days work week: Wednesdays/Fridays/Saturdays/Sundays mandatory
10 - 12 hours a day / 40 -44 hours weekly
