Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Executive Pastry Chef to lead our pastry operations across Harbour Sixty, Arianna, and a private dining space. This role demands a visionary leader with exceptional culinary expertise, a passion for pastry arts, and the ability to inspire and manage a talented pastry team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Menu Development: Design and create innovative dessert menus that reflect the unique themes and culinary styles of each venue while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor pastry staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Conduct regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- Operational Management: Oversee daily pastry production, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and adherence to food safety and sanitation standards. Manage inventory and control costs effectively.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the culinary team of each restaurant to ensure cohesive menu offerings and seamless execution of service during busy periods.
- Quality Control: Maintain high standards of product quality, presentation, and taste across all dessert offerings. Conduct regular tastings and quality assessments.
- Innovation: Stay abreast of industry trends and techniques, incorporating new ideas and seasonal ingredients into the pastry menu.
- Event Management: Coordinate special dessert presentations for private dining events and catered functions, ensuring a memorable experience for guests.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef, preferably in a high-volume restaurant or luxury dining setting.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with experience leading a diverse team.
- Exceptional creativity and a keen eye for detail in pastry presentation.
- Proficiency in a variety of baking techniques and pastry arts.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Education:
- Culinary degree from an accredited institution preferred.
- Certification from a recognized pastry program is a plus.
