The Lunch Lady is a celebrated Vietnamese restaurant bringing the vibrant flavors of Saigon street food to Vancouver. With an ever-growing loyal customer base and dynamic dining experience, we are proud to have earned the Michelin Bib Gourmand recognition for 3 consecutive years. As we expand our reach to Toronto, we are looking for passionate and experienced team members to uphold our high standards of food, service, and guest experience.

Position Overview
We are hiring Food Runners/Bussers to join our team in Toronto. As a Food Runner/Busser, you will play a key role in ensuring a seamless dining experience by supporting both our front-of-house and kitchen teams. Your efficiency, attention to detail, and commitment to guest satisfaction will contribute to our high standards of service in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.

Responsibilities
• Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guest tables promptly and accurately.
• Ensure all food is presented according to restaurant standards.
• Assist servers by clearing and resetting tables efficiently.
• Support the host and server teams by maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining area.
• Restock service stations with essential supplies, such as utensils, napkins, and condiments.
• Respond to guest inquiries in a courteous and professional manner.
• Assist with accommodating special requests or dietary requirements when needed.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service during peak hours.

Qualifications - To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:
• Previous experience in a similar role or the hospitality industry is an asset.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to assist where needed.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Physical ability to lift and carry trays, stand for extended periods, and move swiftly throughout the restaurant.
