Job Description

Carlino, a Michelin-recommended Italian restaurant located in the Shangri-La hotel is looking for a Restaurant Manager to join the team. This position will oversee service in an active floor role with a focus on facilitating the best possible guest experience by working collaboratively with the service team and back-of-house team.

Inspired by the Friuli region of Italy, the menu pays homage to British Columbia and the similarities it shares with northern Italy from the mountain ranges and forests, to the lakes and coastal waters.

Who you are:
- A hospitality-driven leader with 1+ years of management experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Calm, kind, and confident when interacting with guests and staff
- Experience with scheduling and controlling beverage & labour costs
- Knowledge of classic cocktails preferred
- Serving It Right certification required (Foodsafe Level 1 is an asset)
- Available to work evenings and weekends
