Ellipsis is a modern drinking house located in Vancouver’s Waterfall Building.
We operate an all-day beverage program that integrates coffee, cocktails into one cohesive system.
We are looking for bartenders who are detail-oriented, consistent, and committed to a high level of hospitality across both bar and floor service.
Responsibilities
Prepare and execute drinks with consistency and attention to detail
Work across cocktails, coffee-based drinks, and low/no-alcohol offerings
Follow recipes, prep systems, and bar standards
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and station readiness
Support prep, batching, and daily bar setup
Assist with inventory, restocking, and product organization
Service & Hospitality
Deliver a high standard of guest experience across all service formats
Work comfortably between bar and floor, including table service and takeaway
Adapt to different service styles throughout the day (café, to-go, and evening service)
Engage with guests in a natural, attentive, and professional manner
Maintain strong awareness of the room, pacing, and guest needs
Contribute to a team-oriented service environment
What We’re Looking For
Solid foundational bartending skills
Strong attention to detail and consistency
A genuine interest in hospitality and guest experience
Comfortable working both behind the bar and on the floor
Ability to adapt to different service styles and environments
Positive attitude and strong team mindset
Calm and focused during busy service
Requirements
Previous bartending experience required
Comfortable with basic cocktail preparation and service
Legally eligible to work in Canada
Bonus
Coffee or barista experience
Experience in full-service environments
Interest in flavour, drinks, and hospitality
