ELLIPSIS — General Manager / Operations Lead
Ellipsis is a dual-concept space built around coffee, cocktails, and community — a place designed for presence, connection, and thoughtful hospitality.
We’re currently looking for a General Manager to lead operations, support the team, and help shape the next phase of the brand.
This is a hands-on role for someone who is steady under pressure, strong in leadership, and capable of running a business.
What you’ll be doing
Leading daily service across both coffee and cocktail programs
Running the floor with consistency, awareness, and control
Managing scheduling, team performance, and service standards
Owning operational structure, team accountability, and communication
Managing key business metrics, including labour, cost control, and overall P&L performance
Supporting hiring, onboarding, and team development
Acting as a clear bridge between ownership and the team
What we’re looking for
Proven experience in a leadership role (bar, restaurant, or café)
Solid understanding of P&L, labour cost, and basic financial management
Strong presence on the floor — calm, decisive, and detail-oriented
Ability to lead a team, give direction, and hold people accountable
Works hard, takes ownership, and follows through
Clear communicator — direct, respectful, and consistent
Genuine interest in coffee, cocktails, and hospitality culture
