Responsibilities:
As the Lead Hostess at Kissa Tanto, you will play a pivotal role in creating a memorable and seamless dining experience for our guests. You will be responsible for the following:
* Greeting and Seating: Warmly welcome guests, escort them to their tables, and ensure they have a comfortable and enjoyable dining experience.
* Reservation Management: Handle reservations, inquiries, and maintain an organized reservation book to ensure efficient seating.
* Guest Relations: Build and maintain positive relationships with guests, addressing their needs and preferences to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
* Team Coordination: Lead and support a team of hostesses, providing guidance and training to ensure a cohesive and welcoming atmosphere.
* Seating Arrangements: Carefully plan table assignments to optimize seating and pacing for the best guest experience.
* Special Occasions: Coordinate and plan for special occasions, such as birthdays and anniversaries, to enhance the dining experience.
* Proactive Problem Solving: Resolve any guest concerns or issues promptly and professionally, seeking to exceed their expectations.
* Maintain a Pleasant Atmosphere: Ensure that the restaurant's atmosphere is warm, inviting, and meets the standards of a Michelin-starred establishment.
* Communication: Collaborate closely with the restaurant's management, chefs, and waitstaff to ensure seamless service.
Qualifications:
* Minimum of 2 years of experience as a hostess in a fine-dining or Michelin-starred restaurant.
* Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
* A genuine people person with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Proactive and able to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
* Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on exceeding guest expectations.
* Professional and polished appearance.
* Knowledge of reservation software and restaurant management systems is a plus.
