Pourhouse in Gastown is looking for a Host/Server Assistant to join our team! Duties include, but are not limited to interacting with guests, greeting, seating, running food, clearing, re-setting, managing reservations, and supporting the service team wherever necessary to create flawless and memorable guest experiences.
Our food is designed with inspired and skilful technique, though born of familiar comforts. Hearty and mouth-watering meals with a sense of familiarity are done in a homemade style using fresh, local and seasonal ingredients. The cocktails have an old-fashioned soul, in variations both plain and fancy, and are the catalyst for the entire concept.
You have:
- A positive, warm attitude
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in a similar role (counter service, caffe service, and/or bussing) or someone who is eager to learn
- A keen eye and attention to detail
- Serving it Right certification
- Evening availability required
- Tuesday evening availability required
