Job Description

The Mackenzie Room is expanding its strong kitchen team and we are looking for a person with strong culinary skills and techniques to join the squad. Someone who is proficient and excels with proteins and working on any given section of the line. This is a great opportunity for a candidate who loves to cook, enjoys learning, and wants to work in a positive kitchen.
The Mackenzie Room's menu is globally inspired, driven by the seasonality of the PNW using classic techniques from many cuisines as well as the best produce BC has to offer. This is a chance to work alongside a tight family of staff, who love what they do in a serious, progressive/forward-thinking kitchen.

Salary-based employment with a 4 Day work week and weekly gratuities based on sales.

Benefits, and 2 weeks paid vacation after 3 months.

Compensation is based on experience and only suitable candidates will be contacted.

Applicants must be based in Vancouver or the Greater Vancouver area.
