Job Description

Join the Crazy Raven Team at Cypress Mountain, located just 30 mins from downtown Vancouver!  As a Server, you’ll be at the heart of delivering an outstanding guest experience by providing friendly, attentive, and efficient service. You’ll manage your section with care while working closely with your team to ensure every guest enjoys a memorable time while on mountain. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (include but not limited to the following):

·          Maintain and manage a bar seating section, ensuring that tables are cleaned and set up properly between guests.

·          Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring guest satisfaction.

·          Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of food and beverages.

·          Utilize product knowledge to sell menu items and make recommendations based on guest preferences, focusing on Portion, Preparation, Presentation, and Price.

·          Assist fellow team members as needed to maintain a smooth and efficient service.

·          Handle guest concerns professionally and escalate to management when necessary.

·          Perform general kitchen cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and emptying garbage’s.

·          Follow health and safety protocols, including food handling, sanitation, and alcohol service guidelines.

·          Adhere to safety program and protocols, including safe food handling, sanitization and health regulations.

·          Courteous towards co-workers and Guests.

QUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES:

·          Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

·          Strong customer service skills with a passion for people and an approachable attitude.

·          Passion for food and beverage with a solid understanding of menu items and preparation.

·          Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring a consistently high-quality guest experience.

·          Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills.

·          Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.

·          Ability to stand for extended periods of time.

·          Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

·          Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business.

·          Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

·          Must be able to legally work in Canada.

·          Serving It Right required.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

·          2+ years previous serving experience in a high-volume restaurant/bar.

·          High School or equivalent.

WAGE/BENEFITS:

·          Wage: $18.60/hour + tips
