PROJECT MANAGER

As Project Manager you will assess and estimate costs to remediate property damages due to fire, smoke, water, wind, etc.
In collaboration with property owners, insurance and construction representatives, you will evaluate and assign the team to safely carry out cleanup and the first phase of returning properties back to their pre-disaster condition.
Your analytical skills, experience and ability to calmly relate to people in all situations will ensure success in helping people and their families return to their previous quality of life.
Based out of Regina, the territory of work is southern Saskatchewan.

Estimate 50% field work, 50% office A valid driver’s license is required.
As the selected candidate, you will bring:
Education:
Ideally have valid Certification through IICRC (https://iicrc.org) for: water remediation, fire and smoke restoration, odor control technician, mold remediation, biohazard and trauma. A combination of education and experience will be considered. In-house training is also provided.
Experience:
2+ years of progressive work experience in a Project Management or Supervisory role, preferably within the restoration or construction industry Some safety training/experience is an asset.
Knowledge and experience of the Canadian Restoration Industry is preferred.
Computer
Word, Excel, Outlook. Knowledge of estimating and project reporting software programs is preferred.

Enthusiastic and service oriented, motivated to help people and their families from disaster to restoration. A calm, confident demeanour with excellent communications and relationship building skills to work effectively with clients who have experienced a trauma.
Strong analytical skills, decision making and attention to detail.
Knowledgeable in and committed to a high level of safety at all times, in line with company policies, standards and legislation.
Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing, with an ability to write comprehensive technical reports.
Hours of work: Mon-Friday 8:00-4:30 with some overtime as needed. The position is on call and requires the ability to work flexible hours.
