We’re looking for experienced barbacks to support our bar team at Shark Club during the FIFA World Cup. This is a high-volume, fast-paced environment where speed, awareness, and teamwork are critical.

You’ll play a key role in keeping the bar running smoothly during one of the busiest service periods of the year.

Responsibilities:

• Restock beer, liquor, wine, and bar supplies throughout service
• Change kegs and maintain draft systems efficiently
• Ensure bartenders are fully stocked and set up for service
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area at all times
• Assist with glassware collection, washing, and polishing
• Remove empty bottles, garbage, and recycling promptly
• Support bartenders during peak periods to maintain service speed
• Assist with opening and closing duties as required

Requirements:

• Previous barback or high-volume support experience in a bar or nightclub preferred
• Strong awareness and ability to anticipate bartender needs
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure
• Physically capable of lifting kegs, carrying cases, and being on your feet for long shifts
• Team-oriented with clear communication skills
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and match days
• Familiarity with bar operations and setup is an asset

This is a temporary role suited for experienced support staff who can step in and perform with minimal direction in a high-intensity environment.
