We are looking for part time Guest Service Team members. Our GS team members will be responsible for creating a positive guest experience that first begins with a welcoming and genuine greeting to our guests. You are a critical member of the team and will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service to ensure a positive first and last impression. Our team will always go out of their way to take care of our guest’s special requests. Working with a team first mentality and going above and beyond is something they do proudly. Duties: • Greet customers as soon as they walk through the door • Provide guests with accurate wait time estimates during busy periods • Maintain a neat, organized front-of-house environment • Seat guests and let them know about any features • Rotate seating between different sections to ensure even workloads for server and bar service team • Answer phones politely and schedule reservations • Perform other duties as assigned Guest Service Requirements: • Experience providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment • Previous restaurant or hotel experience an asset • Great welcoming smile • Able to perform high-quality work while unsupervised • Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment • Computer literate, including effective working skills of MS Word, e-mail, prior knowledge of POS systems, Opentable, Touch Bistro and Sevenrooms extremely helpful • Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times • Strong communication skills • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude • Strong organizational skills • Great with time management and multitasking • Previous experience in customer service • Must be comfortable with prolonged periods of standing and walking • Must be able to lift, balance and carry a tray of up to 10 pounds • Willing to learn our menu and be able to understand and answer questions that guests may have About Executive Table Group.
