Lead Server
ABODE Restaurant at Blue Horizon Hotel – Vancouver, BC

The Blue Horizon Hotel is looking for a motivated and experienced Lead Server to support and guide the FOH team at ABODE Restaurant.

Located on Robson Street, our 215-room hotel features a breakfast/brunch restaurant. We value teamwork, consistency, and excellent guest service in a respectful, fast paced environment.

This is a hands on position role ideal for a strong server who naturally supports others, leads by example, and helps keep service running smoothly day to day.

What you will do:

• Lead service on the floor and support the FOH team during shifts
• Help train, coach, and support servers in real time
• Scheduling and service coordination
• Ensure consistent guest experiences
• Assist with menu features
• Help maintain smooth, efficient restaurant operations

What we are looking for:

• Strong understanding and delivery of hospitality
• A strong server with natural leadership ability
• Hands on, proactive, and calm under pressure
• Focused on guest experience and team support
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Serving It Right

Experience:

• 3–5+ years in restaurants, including strong serving experience
• Previous leadership or “shift lead” experience is an asset
• Comfortable in a busy, high-volume environment
• Hotel or banquet experience is an asset
• Experience with POS systems (Squirrel an asset)
