Boulevard Kitchen and Oyster Bar is currently seeking enthusiastic, experienced individuals looking to gain experience in one of Canada's top restaurants. Wage is comprised of hourly, and above-industry-standard gratuities. Excellent work ethic and customer service skills are required to excel in this position.
Our Food Expediter ensures the smooth and efficient flow of food orders from the kitchen to guests, acting as a liaison between the kitchen staff, servers, and management to ensure that orders are accurately prepared, plated, garnished, and delivered in a timely manner. Attention to detail, strong communication skills, a love for food, and ability to multitask contribute to the overall success of this role.
Key Responsibilities
· Receive and review food orders
· Communicate any modifications or special instructions to the kitchen staff if required
· Verify accuracy and completeness of orders, ensuring all special requests or dietary restrictions are noted.
· Monitor entire party’s order readiness and coordinate with servers to ensure prompt delivery to customers.
· Address any issues or discrepancies with kitchen staff and request necessary corrections.
· Ensure all items on the order are complete and accurate.
· Foster effective communication and collaboration between kitchen staff, servers, and management and communicate delays, changes, or challenges promptly to all relevant parties.

Strong communication skills are an asset as food delivery and presentation are required for this position.
