Well established, very busy, lucrative, Yaletown restaurant is seeking to add an experienced Team Leader / Maitre d' to our team. You must have a minimum of 5 years restaurant experience preferably with some fine dining. Previous restaurant management experience is preferred. Wine, spirit and food knowledge is very helpful. Sommelier experience is ideal. Opportunity to take control of the wine program. The business is quite diverse with frequent weddings, corporate events & reception style parties in addition to a la carte dinner service. In addition to a seasonally changing locally focused menu, Brix & Mortar offers an award winning 400 selection wine list and a top notch cocktail program. Most weeks will be approximately 40 - 45 hours (3 - 4 nights and 1 - 2 Admin days). Nights are not late (11pm). Extended medical/dental & cell phone plan. Work/Life balance is a priority. Gratuities will be approximately $15,000 per year.
