Job Description

Sous Chef – Build Something That Matters

We’re hiring a Sous Chef for a fast-paced, event-driven kitchen—someone who wants more than just a job. This is a chance to work directly with a new Head Chef to build structure, lead a team, and shape a serious culinary program.

What You’ll Actually Do

  • Run service, support the pass, and execute high-volume events without losing quality
  • Own inventory, ordering, and organization - everything in its place, tracked, and tight
  • Help build and enforce systems, prep structure, and kitchen flow
  • Train and develop the team - onboarding, standards, and adapting to seasonal menu changes
  • Collaborate on seasonal features and menu development with a focus on execution
  • Track vendor pricing, control costs, and minimize waste
  • Enforce labor standards and support smart scheduling
  • Lead cleanliness and deep cleaning systems (not just surface-level)
  • Represent BOH in management meetings - clear, direct communication with FOH

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong, organized leader who can handle pressure without losing control
  • Experience in high-volume or event-driven kitchens
  • Someone who cares about doing things properly, not cutting corners
  • A cook with taste, standards, and the drive to improve a kitchen—not just work in one

Along with elevated cocktails and craft beers, sophisticated wines will round out our beverage offerings.
