We’re looking for a Chef / Store Manager to join the opening team for an exciting new concept.

Inspired by one of our most beloved restaurants, Ask for Luigi, this concept is built around a simple idea: great pasta, served quickly, without compromise. It’s a tight menu of dishes people know and love, prepared with care and intention, and designed for the pace and energy of a high-volume environment. This is Luigi at its most direct form — familiar, comforting, and generous. No extras, no complications. Just good pasta, served well. Even in a quick-service setting, the goal remains the same: to create a moment of connection through food and hospitality.

We’re looking for a Chef / Store Manager to lead the team with both heart and standards. In this role, you’ll be responsible for both the kitchen and the day-to-day operations of the space. This is a role for someone who understands how to balance quality with speed and who believes that developing people is just as important as developing plates.

You have:

  • 1+ years experience in a similar role
  • A passion for food, cooking, leadership, and mentorship
  • A calm, kind, and steady presence with team members, especially under pressure
  • A sense of ownership in your role with a willingness to ask questions, receive feedback, and improve
  • The ability to support cost controls for food, labour, and inventory, following systems and standards with care
  • Experience with Italian cuisine is considered an asset
  • Food Safe Level 1 required
