Job Description

We are seeking experienced Host / Hostess staff to join our team at Miku Vancouver. Our Guest Services team must maintain a professional image and positive attitude, as well as the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. At Miku, the guests experience comes first, your ability to make quick decisions and prioritize tasks will be put to the test. If this sounds like the challenge for you, please carefully read the prerequisites and expectations below.

Prerequisites and Expectations

- Experience in a similar job role preferred.
- Positive attitude, professional and formal demeanour.
- Valid and current visa to work in hospitality. (Minimum 9 months left on visa)
- Work well with a large team.
- Open availability. (Full-time/Part-time positions available, WEEKEND AVAILABILITY IS REQUIRED)
- Fluent in English, multi-language skills a bonus.
- Interest in Japanese culture and cuisine beneficial.
- Experience in using online reservation systems also a strong asset but not required.
