We are looking for passionate, hard-working Line Cooks to join our elite kitchen team.
The Role
As a Line Cook at Ophelia, you will be responsible for executing high-quality dishes that honor traditional Mexican techniques with a modern twist. You’ll work in a fast-paced, professional environment where consistency, speed, and attention to detail are paramount.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and execute menu items according to Ophelia’s high standards and recipes.
Manage a specific station (Plancha, Saucier, Garde Manger, etc.) during busy services.
Ensure all food prep is completed efficiently and stocked for service.
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation in compliance with food safety regulations.
Collaborate effectively with the Sous Chef and Executive Chef to maintain kitchen flow.
What You Bring
Experience: At least 1–2 years of experience in a high-volume, upscale, or polished-casual kitchen.
Skills: Strong knife skills and a solid understanding of cooking techniques (searing, braising, sauce emulsification).
Passion: A genuine interest in Mexican cuisine and high-quality ingredients.
Attitude: A "team-first" mentality, a sense of urgency, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
Certification: Valid FoodSafe Level 1 is required.
