OPPORTUNITY
Published on Main is currently seeking a star player to join our bar team. The position is part time, although, there is always the possibility for it to move to something more.
OVERVIEW
As a Bartender at Published on Main you are responsible for delivering a bar experience defined by the restaurant’s ethos and rooted in standards, creativity, and intentional hospitality. This role sits at the intersection of craft and service—executing at a high technical level while creating experiences that feel personal, seamless, and memorable.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Guest Experience
- Deliver service that is attentive, intuitive, and aligned with Published standards.
- Guide guests through the menu with clarity, confidence, and genuine engagement.
- Recognize returning guests and contribute to building lasting relationships.
- Collaborate with the team to capture and share guest insights.
- Approach every interaction with warmth, presence, and attention to detail.
Service & Operations
- Execute all cocktails and beverages with accuracy, consistency, and discipline.
- Maintain a high level of mise en place to support smooth, uninterrupted service.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of the cocktail program, wine list, and food menu.
- Engage in ongoing education, tastings, and team development.
- Take pride in the details that define quality and consistency.
- Prepare and maintain the bar to meet both operational and visual standards.
- Work with pace and awareness to support the overall flow of service.
- Complete opening and closing duties with efficiency and care.
- Step into floor service when needed, supporting the broader team.
- Communicate clearly with managers and teammates to ensure alignment throughout service.

WHO YOU ARE
An experienced bartender with a strong foundation in cocktails, spirits, wine, and bar operations, gained in quality-driven or high-volume environments.
A hospitality professional who takes pride in both craft and guest experience, bringing intention and care to every interaction.
Detail-oriented, organized, and consistent in execution, with a disciplined approach to service.
Calm, focused, and reliable under pressure, able to perform at a high level during demanding service periods.
A clear and professional communicator who contributes positively to team dynamics and supports those around them.
Curious and engaged, with a genuine commitment to ongoing learning and growth within the hospitality industry.
REQUIREMENTS
- Serving it Right Certification.
- Must be available weekends and evenings.
- Must be able to safely lift 25 lbs.
