Bar Manager!
New South Granville Restaurant with an innovative Cocktail Concept

A bold new restaurant with an innovative and exciting cocktail program is coming to South Granville, and we’re searching for a Bar Manager to lead our beverage program. If you live and breathe cocktails, thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, and love to mentor up-and-coming bartenders, this is your chance to make your mark on Vancouver’s cocktail scene.
What You’ll Do:
● Oversee all aspects of the bar program, from cocktail development to inventory control.
● Collaborate with the culinary team to create pairings that enhance the guest experience.
● Hire, train, and inspire a top-tier bar team that delivers exceptional hospitality.
● Maintain impeccable standards for presentation, service, and efficiency.
● Stay ahead of industry trends, experimenting with new techniques and ingredients.
● Ensure compliance with all liquor laws and health regulations.
● Create and manage vendor partnerships, capitalizing on revenue, availability and
efficiency.
● Build relationships with BC-based distilleries, breweries, wineries, and suppliers to
highlight regional spirits while ensuring a well-rounded back bar that appeals to a range
of guests.
What You Bring:
● 3+ years of experience in a bar leadership role within a high-volume, cocktail-focused
venue.
● Deep knowledge of classic and modern cocktails, spirits, and bar techniques. Extensive liquor knowledge required. Wine knowledge/WSET an asset.
● A passion for hospitality and guest experience, with a hands-on approach to leadership
● Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage inventory, ordering, and cost
controls
● Experience training and developing bartenders into knowledgeable, confident
professionals
