Cibo Wine Bar is currently looking for enthusiastic and reliable Host/Hostess to join our team.
Responsibilities:
•Maintaining host stand area, ensuring organization and cleanliness at all times
•Possess a working knowledge of the venue (location, direction, events, policies etc.)
•Effectively manage guest flow to maximize seating capacity
•Know all table numbers and maintain awareness of which servers are in each section
•Communicate with Managers and FOH staff during events to maintain proper guest flow throughout the venue.
•Assist management and FOH staff in all necessary preparations and set up for events.
•Manage the guest waitlist
•Escort guests to their table
•Other duties as assigned or required
Qualifications
•Previous experience in a customer service position
•Strong oral communication skills
•High attention to detail
•Ability to remain calm under pressure while working in a fast-paced environment
•Organizational skills and ability to multi-task
•Ability to maintain a level of professional urgency and momentum
•Minimum 1 year experience in customer service experience considered an asset
•Must be legally able to work in Canada
