This a great place to work. The chef curates the best kitchen playlist, expedites service like a magician, and never loses his sense of humour or humanity, even when the dining room turns three times on a Friday—terrific emotional self-discipline. If you have the opportunity to work with him, do it. The owner is 100% committed to the business's success, and it feels like it. He's a smart operator who steered el Santo through some challenging times. Kudos to him. The atmosphere is fun, with lots of great banter between the front and back of the house. I loved my time there.
