Job Description

We are looking for the following qualities in our ideal candidates:

  • A passion for delivering an exceptional dining experience to our guests.
  • Self motivated to develop your skills and industry knowledge.
  • Highly organized, efficient, great communication skills, and superior attention to detail.
  • Reliable and calm under pressure.
  • A cheerful disposition and strong work ethic.
  • Minimum 2 years in a similar position and FoodSafe certificate is required.

About Wildflower Cafe


Located in beautiful Port Alberni on Vancouver Island, Wildflower is a small and independent cafe/bakery, owned and operated by hospitality professionals. Our focus is to provide the community with a warm and welcoming space to connect, either in our cozy dining room, our heated and covered patio, or amongst our garden area where we grow our own vegetables and herbs. 

We offer a creative food and beverage menu of seasonal and local ingredients for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as a selection of veniosserie, donuts, cakes, and sourdough bread all baked fresh daily.  Everything we offer is made in house, from scratch, with love and dedication to our craft.  We believe that food is not just sustinance, and should be interwoven into our lives with thoughtful intent and reflect the values of our connection to nature and the people around us.
