Job Description

Lumache is known for its dedication to handmade pasta, artisanship and high quality ingredients and production.

We are seeking an knowledgable server to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent hospitality and service to our guests. This role offers an exciting opportunity to grow and develop in a well respected restaurant with excellent standards.

Compensation

Hourly wage of $20 per hour plus Tip pool.

This position will be included in the tip pool based on hours worked. There will also be a included daily meal benefit included per shift.

The server is entitled to vacation based on accural of hours worked, these vacations should ideally be taken during the restaurants planned closure periods, any other vacation requests will be considered at the discretion of management.

Responsibilities

• Service of wine, wine parings and other beverages
• Floor maitenence and cleaning
• Excellent service of food
• Organization and systems management
• Upholding a high standard of quality and food safe protocols
• Pouring and making drinks
• Assisting the back of House team when required

Qualifications

• Proven experience in tasting menu formats
• Serving it right certification
• Wine knowledge and training is key!
• Excellent service skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high-quality standards
• Knowledge of the food industry trends and best practices in hospitality
• Ability to work cooperatively and respectfully with coworkers and guests
• Ability to organize, prioritize and follow through as necessary
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a Supervisory Role
• This role will have an expected start date of Mid May
• Experience in Italian food is a bonus!
