We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. Duties
Assist in the preparation of meals by chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients.
Follow recipes and presentation specifications to ensure consistency in food quality.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying management of shortages.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, and fryers.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service during busy periods.
Participate in daily cleaning tasks, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces.
Assist in menu planning and development by providing input on seasonal dishes.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required.
Knowledge of food handling and safety practices is essential.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
